Our company, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a unique opportunity to utilize and expand your financial analysis skills within a robust and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost, inventory, analysis, and reporting, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting comprehensive financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making, optimize operational efficiency, and drive business growth.
2. Managing the company's cost and inventory analysis, ensuring accuracy, and providing insightful recommendations based on trends and patterns.
3. Developing and maintaining financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, to both internal and external stakeholders.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and drive financial performance.
5. Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, effectively incorporating historical trends and current market conditions.
6. Evaluating the financial implications of specific business decisions/opportunities and advises accordingly, in order to support the achievement of company goals.
7. Continuously improving the financial analysis and reporting processes, implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (such as CFA or CPA) would be an asset.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in cost and inventory analysis, with a demonstrated ability to generate actionable insights from complex financial data.
4. Exceptional financial modeling and reporting skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-reasoned and timely decisions.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to non-financial audiences.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel functions. Experience with financial software and systems would be an advantage.
8. Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
