Job Purpose:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in our Retail Division's financial operations. Partnering closely with business leaders, you'll provide strategic financial guidance and support, driving growth and profitability through informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and fulfill ad hoc requests for the Retail Division.
- Collaborate with executive leadership during annual budgeting processes, contributing expertise in revenue modeling, expense forecasting, and ROI evaluation.
- Partner with Retail Division leaders to optimize financial resources and drive strategic growth initiatives.
- Develop accurate forecasts to guide investment decisions and market strategies.
- Assess the financial health of the Retail Division, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
- Support Merchandising department initiatives with data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy of margin data through ongoing analysis of accounting software and operating systems.
- Uphold the company's core values and leadership principles in all aspects of your work.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Three or more years of financial planning and analysis experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant technology tools.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, statements, and reporting.
Preferred Competencies and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and influence strategic decisions.
Physical Work Requirements:
- Regular use of computer equipment, involving hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Extended periods of desk work and computer use.
- Occasional lifting and reaching, up to 10 pounds.
