We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity, based in either Atlanta, GA or Houston, TX. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting our financial data to support informed decision-making and effective financial planning. Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive cost accounting financial statements, focusing on product line analysis and providing additional metrics for thorough data evaluation.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasts to facilitate strategic financial planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Provide insightful analysis of company operations to enhance profitability and overall performance.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and fulfill other management reporting requirements as needed.
- Reconcile general ledger data with various sub-ledgers and system records to maintain data consistency and accuracy.
- Conduct month-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes and implement best practices.
- Uphold strict confidentiality to safeguard organizational value and sensitive information.
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc variance analyses to address deviations from expected financial outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance, with a strong background in account reconciliation, financial analysis, and preparation of financial statements.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and intermediate skills in MS Word and MS Access (or similar database tools).

Salary: $ 40,000.00 140,000.00 Per Year
