Senior Financial Analyst
Finance Department
About the Role:

Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the CFO and play a key role in the Finance department. This individual will be responsible for managing the budgeting and planning processes, forecasting, investment oversight, and preparing critical financial reports. The role also requires expertise in financial systems and focuses on improving process efficiencies and automating workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or similar fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Hebrew is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various teams and senior management.
- Support long-term strategic planning by researching and applying best practices.
Forecasting:
- Manage and create accurate cash flow forecasts, including revenue and program expenses.
Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, highlighting key metrics, results, and variances for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Use advanced knowledge of financial systems to automate and enhance reporting processes.
- Work closely with project teams to streamline project creation and reporting workflows.
- Develop pricing for programs and projects.
- Maintain Fund/Project IDs in financial systems.
Analysis:
- Analyze monthly performance metrics across the organization.
- Foster cross-departmental relationships to support ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Identify areas for performance improvement and optimization.
Investment Management:
- Collaborate with investment advisors to monitor and assess performance, ensuring optimal returns in line with investment policies.
Leadership:
- Supervise, coach, and mentor Finance department Analysts.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
