Are you a seasoned Financial Analyst with a knack for translating complex financial data into actionable insights? Do you thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where your analytical skills and financial acumen can make a real impact? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is a permanent position where you will play a critical role in our company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. You will also be responsible for performing ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will:
1. Develop and maintain financial models to support the company's strategic initiatives and financial planning processes.
2. Perform variance, financial, and cash flow analyses to identify trends, assess financial performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
3. Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of the annual budget, income statements, and monthly reporting.
4. Conduct forecasting activities to predict future financial outcomes and support business planning.
5. Utilize tools such as pivot tables and Vlookup to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
6. Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses to support decision-making across various departments within the company.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their financial needs and provide appropriate financial guidance and support.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Analyst position will have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
2. Proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis, financial analysis, ad hoc reporting, cash flow analysis, forecasting, budgeting, annual budget preparation, income statement preparation, pivot tables, Vlookup, and monthly reporting.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
4. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
