About the Job
Molex is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with strong analytical and communication skills to partner with leadership of our Global Sales & Marketing (GSM) organization. This highly visible role will additionally work with cross-functional teams such as Commercial Excellence, Corporate Strategy, Sales Operations, Corporate Finance, Human Resources, and more to support and enable sound decision-making by executive leadership on a wide range of functional projects. The selected candidate will be strong in financial modeling, economic thinking, and effective decision support. The ability to build relationships, establish trust and credibility, challenge existing norms, and communicate at a leadership level is required.
This will be a Hybrid role with minimum 3 days a week on-site in Lisle or Chicago.
What You Will Do
- Finance Business Partner: Lead consolidation of localized planning and performance measures to present a global view of Molex GSM. Assist in disseminating reporting and insights to internal stakeholders assisting is decision support for revenue and cost.
- Communicator: Consistently present global sales & marketing KPIs to cross-functional leadership teams. Be a two-way communicator between GSM and internal organizational teams to improve understanding of performance and opportunities for all parties.
- Data Modeling / Aggregation : Be prepared to build tools and templates that will both improve process and experiment with new Molex capabilities and how they apply to GSM and Finance. Wide range of creative space for experimentation and application.
- Corporate Finance / Planning: Lead conduit between GSM and Corporate Finance for regular planning / flash cycles, project spend, develop targeting initiatives that can be employed locally to better promote individualized sales goals, and track progress.
- Advance PBM Culture: Foster and build the financial acumen and economic thinking of internal customers through coaching and training. Advance Principle-Based Management by applying and reinforcing the Guiding Principles. Deploying contribution motivation to drive continued growth and improvement across the organization.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Finance or related role.
- University degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field.
- Excellent data/financial modeling skills utilizing Excel, Power BI, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate well both verbally and visually using various software mediums (ppt, Excel, word etc)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with accuracy.
- Agile in fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- A demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams
- Demonstrated economic and critical thinking skills and ability to constructively challenge at all levels of the organization.

- Relevant Accounting professional qualification
- Direct experience with long-term planning exercises
- Experience working with a commercial organization
- Strong systems knowledge with SAP being a distinct plus
