Job Details
The Senior Financial Analyst will support the financial, managerial, and cost accounting activities of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and executing financial strategies to drive the plant's financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist in developing and executing financial strategies to support business objectives and improve financial performance.
Cost Accounting: Implement and manage cost accounting systems to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting process and provide accurate financial forecasts to aid strategic planning and decision-making.
ERP System Management: Utilize ERP systems, particularly Infor LN, to streamline financial processes and reporting.
Project Accounting: Oversee project accounting activities, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of project costs.
Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Site Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive financial operations.
Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, offering insights and recommendations for enhancing financial performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP systems, with a preference for experience in Infor LN.
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with project accounting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
