Job Details
This is a high-impact role that requires you to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management. You will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and projection for our firm, including forecasting future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures and determine capital budgeting for projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management.
2. Prepare comprehensive financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues.
3. Develop financial reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators, highlighting trends, and analyzing variances.
4. Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for all departments and compare it to the set standards to identify any discrepancies.
5. Collaborate with the different department heads to gather all necessary data for budgeting.
6. Participate in the development and execution of strategic initiatives by providing financial and analytical support.
7. Use advanced Excel skills to manipulate large data sets into presentable formats.
8. Perform ad-hoc projects and analyses as requested by management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An advanced degree or certification such as a MBA, CFA, or CPA is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, and budgeting within the manufacturing industry.
3. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and macros.
4. Public accounting experience required.
