We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior Financial Analyst in the Tech industry. This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled professional to apply their expertise in financial modeling, financial analysis, and variance to drive strategic decision-making and improve our company's financial performance.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to support decision making related to complex business issues including valuation, profitability, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Conducting comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, assess financial performance, and provide insights that influence strategic decisions.
3. Analyzing budget variances and providing detailed explanations for deviations from budgeted amounts.
4. Preparing detailed financial reports and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and challenge assumptions in financial models.
6. Assisting in the development of financial policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
7. Providing guidance and training to junior financial analysts.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (such as CFA or CPA) is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role
3. Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, financial analysis, and variance analysis.
4. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
5. Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial modeling software is a plus.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8. A detail-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in work.
9. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take the initiative to implement changes.
10. Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
