Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role in examining, analyzing, and interpreting the company's accounts and records, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You will compile and analyze financial and non-financial data, verify data accuracy, and collaborate closely with accounting management and senior executives to prepare comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost accounting financial statements, providing in-depth analysis by product line and offering valuable insights and additional metrics for data analysis.
- Assist in the annual budget process and periodic reforecasts to support effective financial planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for the company, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Provide analysis and insights into company operations to drive profitability and achieve better results.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and fulfill other reporting requirements as directed by management.
- Reconcile general ledger data with various sub-ledgers and system data to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Perform month-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within the financial reporting process and incorporate best practices.
- Maintain strict confidentiality to protect the organization's value and sensitive information.
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc variance analyses to identify and address deviations from expected outcomes.
- Adhere to department policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
-3 years of previous experience performing financial analysis and preparing financial statements.
-MS Office, Tableau, Power BI, or SQL
-Advanced Excel
