Responsibilities:
- Provides monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of financial results with insightful analysis to the MDS Leadership Team, including tracking performance/progress on KDGs
- Develops a strong business partner role providing proactive financial input, delivering insightful analysis to map uncover risks and opportunities and contributing to implement business strategies in a dynamic environment.
- Execute projects to drive incremental value for Business, simplify internal process and reduce manual activities/reports.
- Execute MDS submission timelines and reporting deliverables during ASR, annual budget and quarterly forecast processes
- Interact/ collaborate with diverse group of finance leaders in the MDS Finance team across the globe, facilitating interactions and keeping people engaged.
- Prepares templates and consolidates information required to drive proper business discussions during MDS annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and Annual Strategic Review processes.
- Provides financial support and effectively interacts with other stakeholders as part of annual plans and expense budgets.
- Consolidates information and supports the Intelliport financial analysis in order to drive proper business discussions on the New Venture portfolio.
- Candidate must demonstrate the desire and potential to advance to roles within Finance organization which will require higher levels of skill and capabilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- Strong focus on continuous process improvement looking for process optimization and identifying opportunities for process/reports simplification across the globe.
- Candidate must have the ability to think creatively about problem-solving and opportunity creation in order to attend to different customer needs. Excel knowledge is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and dynamic business environment.
- Candidate should be well organized and possess good analytical and communication skills to effectively communicate complex issues to people at all organization levels
- Demonstrated sensitivity to cultural and geographical differences when interacting with others
- 4 plus years of relevant work experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance recommended. SAP/BPC experience preferred
- Analytical skills should include a strong understanding of business and storytelling capabilities to translate the strategy into numbers.
