Position: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Pacific Time Zone preferred, open to candidates nationwide.
Your Role:
As a Senior Financial Analyst at the company, you'll play a vital role in supporting our mission by delivering critical analytics and insights to leadership and stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, Core FP&A, you'll primarily focus on financial reporting initiatives, contributing to the development of impactful financial models and analyses. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and enhancing the company-wide financial model, providing regular analysis and reporting on all financial statements.
- Taking ownership of headcount and personnel cost planning, ensuring alignment with our growth and strategic objectives.
- Partnering closely with accounting on month-end close processes and financial reporting, offering insights on company performance relative to targets.
- Facilitating budgeting and forecasting processes, coordinating inputs from across the organization to establish spend targets and consolidate financial plans.
- Preparing key monthly and quarterly deliverables, such as presentations for leadership meetings and board reports.
- Serving as a strategic Finance Business Partner for various functions, assisting with forecasting, budget planning, and budget vs. actuals reporting.
- Driving best practices in reporting and data utilization, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
- Conducting ad hoc analysis and modeling as needed to support business objectives.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of relevant finance experience.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with planning tools like Anaplan is preferred.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and build solutions from the ground up.
- Strong model building skills and a quick learner of new systems and tools.
- Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- High integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
