Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in an organization by examining historical and current financial data to forecast future revenues and expenses using financial principles. They also support the organization in complex financial functions, including assessments, audits, planning, budgeting, taxation, consolidation, cost control, and project management.
Position Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst's responsibilities encompass a wide range of financial activities, such as evaluating capital expenditures, depreciation, investment opportunities, profit planning, and financial statement analysis. They scrutinize past operations, cost trends, revenue estimates, and obligations to project future financial outcomes. Documenting expected revenues and expenditures for management review is a crucial task. Additionally, they contribute to financial planning and control concepts and assist in special studies, budget interpretation, and audits. Furthermore, they may provide financial analysis for capital improvement projects and consult on financial policies.
