Position Summary
As Hologic continues to grow and evolve as a worldwide leader in women’s health, our business increasingly depends on the successful use of data and its application within our teams. The primary role of the Senior Analyst, Data Analytics is to develop and deploy appropriate analytical models to identify and address key business opportunities and drive standardization within the Global Finance function (and across Hologic’s business).
The Senior Analyst should have an intimate knowledge of different data sources and how best to leverage and integrate them in driving key insights and actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Drive effectiveness and efficiency of Finance Organization through generation, dissemination, and implementation of analytical insights.
+ Direct data strategy, ownership, and accountability around service business processes in partnership with Finance leadership.
+ Drive efficiencies, standardization, and a streamlined approach for technical support of analytical / reporting needs.
+ Leverage disparate data sources and shape continuous evolution of data models for easy access to critical information, reporting, and analysis; mostly focused on Power BI capabilities.
+ Work closely with Finance leadership and the IT function to develop appropriate models for data access and emerging analytic needs in Power BI.
+ Create and distribute all relevant analysis necessary to support the Finance organization. Reports should be actionable, focusing on key performance indicators.
+ Utilize the data to drive efficiencies that ultimately drive revenue and EPS.
+ Drive ROI improvements and contribute to ongoing performance improvements and development of data driven decision-making.
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Statistics or other Social Sciences discipline with an aptitude and training for quantitative analysis required.
Experience
+ 3-5 years of experience in an analytical support role required
+ Prior manufacturing industry experience preferred, healthcare sector a plus.
Qualifications
+ This role requires that the candidate be present onsite for 4 days each week at our Corporate Headquarters in Marlborough, MA
+ Thought leadership & analytical guidance to analysts across Finance organization
+ A strong project management skill and ability to work across functions and lead analytical projects are required.
+ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
+ Proficiency in data visualization, with a focus on Power BI development and other analytical / visualization tools.
+ Strong communication and presentation skills
+ Expertise in Excel (advanced), Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with reporting packages such as Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, and Qlikview
+ Ability to match/merge databases to facilitate appropriate analyses Ability to work independently and be a team player
