job summary:

We are seeking Interim Senior Financial Analysts in the Dallas area to join our team.

Working under close supervision, the Senior Financial Analyst (interim) conducts and documents simple to moderate standard financial analysis and ad hoc finance projects. The Financial Analyst also aids the organization with financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control, and project control.

responsibilities:

• Create and own detailed and flexible financial models to facilitate decisions at all levels.
• Develop and implement reporting and analytics capabilities for the business
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and financial modeling to drive decision-making
• Manage and track financial performance against plan and dive into variances
• Identify and quantify risk or upside and provide solutions on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience.
• Develops, reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends.

 
qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university. Preferably in business administration, economics, finance, or accounting.
• 4+ years of experience in a finance related position
• Analytical mindset with the curiosity to drill down to the details
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others.
• Results-oriented mentality, highly energetic, dynamic individual with a drive to deliver on time
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
