Sr. Financial Analyst-Corporate Development Job Description
The Sr. Financial Analyst-Corporate Development will have a unique opportunity to help support and buildout the corporate development function of a prominent physician practice. The position will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and will help support the M&A process during an era of rapid organizational and financial growth. This position will be directly involved in supporting all facets of the M&A process with broad and frequent interaction with senior executive leadership.
Experience/Training/Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or relevant field required. Advanced degrees and certifications are also preferred. Ex: MBA/MS

Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience in corporate development/M&A groups, investment banking, or private equity environments

Transaction experience in executing financial and operational diligence

Strong financial modeling ability and excellent quantitative and analytical skills with a focused attention to detail

Possess a self-starter, performance-oriented, and strong problem solving skillset

Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, balancing multiple projects and timelines

Excellent computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint)
Preferred experience:

Experience in multi-site, provider-based healthcare environments

Experience with NetSuite/Tableau/SQL
Responsibilities/Skills/Abilities:

Support enterprise deal-flow process, including but not limited to, (1) supporting the deal origination process in helping identify and evaluate potential physician practices partnerships, M&A activity (2) managing the due diligence process on potential targets, including financial, operational, legal, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough assessments of potential targets (3) conduct financial analysis, including modeling to assess financial viability, particularly in partnership/management fee models

Manage target pipeline with close collaboration with executive leadership on development activities and share with management

Prepare clear and concise deal presentations outlining the opportunity to the management team

Assist in the development of enterprise forecasts incorporating future growth opportunities

Provide decision support to management, finance, operations.

Assist with reviewing and recommending approaches that could streamline overall processes, particularly as it relates to deal flow process.

Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
