Cox Consulting Network is working with a profitable, fast-growing PE-owned client in its search for a Senior Financial Analyst. The Sr FA will be a key member of the Finance team and will report to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis.

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for process improvement, team leadership, and systems management. The position requires strong intellectual capacity, analytical skills, and a solid work ethic.
Essential Job Functions
- Partner cross-functionally to help establish repeatable and consistent core FP&A practices for specific areas of the business – forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis
- Build (or evolve existing) driver-based models of key financial or operational elements of the business that can be used collaboratively to both manage and forecast the business. Focus is on KPIs
- Leverage models to complete recurring or ad hoc analysis to identify insights and make thoughtful recommendations at all levels of the organization.
- Assist in comprehensive adoption of Adaptive, Power BI, and other tools that increase efficiency and effectiveness in managing large datasets and presenting key findings.
- Manage operational processes and update/improve established BI reporting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial planning & analysis, consulting, or other quantitatively analytical role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Math, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Rockstar Excel skills, Adaptive and / or Power BI experience a strong plus.
- Experience in multi-unit operation, like gyms, retail, restaurants, etc., preferred but not required.
- Excellent analytical aptitude combined with a results-driven attitude.
- Standout financial & operations modeling skills.
- Demonstrated high levels of curiosity and initiative.
- Ability to build collaborative cross-functional partnerships, across all levels of management.
- Effective written and verbal communication, including formal presentations as well as informal discussions with colleagues at all levels.
