About our Senior Financial Analyst role:
As a Senior Financial Analyst in the North America Commercial Finance team, you’ll play a crucial role in driving business success. You’ll provide key financial insights that directly influence business decisions and strategies, analyse performance, forecast trends, and develop strategies to boost profitability. You’ll work with various teams to meet financial goals and turn data into actionable recommendations. Additionally, you’ll support planning, budgeting, and evaluate new opportunities to drive business growth and efficiency

Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include building ad-hoc models to support business decisions and growth initiatives, and automating routine tasks to improve efficiency. You will analyze monthly performance results, provide in-depth analysis, and offer actionable recommendations. Additionally, you will investigate financial transactions and become proficient with the systems and tools used by the Commercial Finance team.
You will address queries from the Group Reporting team, ensure reporting controls are in place, and support broader company projects such as speeding up the month-end close, implementing new reporting systems, and integrating data post-acquisitions.
To succeed, you should have at least 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics within a SaaS business, with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, ARR drivers, and P&L. Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP revenue recognition rules, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to quickly learn new systems are essential.
We are looking for a problem-solver with high energy and a passion for contributing to team and company success. You should be a self-starter who builds strong relationships across teams and thrives in a hands-on environment.
Skills Required:
4+ years' previous experience in commercial finance, FP&A, accounting and/or performance analytics. SaaS experience preferred.
Strong technical understanding of ARR, revenue and full P&L, including Revenue Recognition rules (IFRS, GAAP). Proficient with MS Office tools, and Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, lookups, if/then statements.
Solid systems experience with proven ability to learn new systems quickly (large ERP, HFM, Adaptive, Einstein, SAP or similar).
Bachelor’s degree is required, additional degrees or certifications preferred.
