Job Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst is an integral role responsible for critical activities related to budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and ad-hoc business analysis. This position will work closely with executives and key leaders, offering a high level of visibility for the entire organization. The incumbent manages and develops key aspects of the company budget and forecast and identifies operational and expense improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

- Provide insightful business line profitability analysis.
- Manage and develop key aspects of the company budget and forecast.
- Identify operational and expense improvement opportunities.
- Create management reporting and analysis packages.
- Provide business managers with financial and operating performance updates.
- Work with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other senior management regarding critical activities related to budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and ad-hoc business analysis.
- Assist Accounting with various month-end reporting requirements.
- Assist with competitive business analysis.
- Perform numerous business ad-hoc analysis.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.
- Complete all mandatory annual compliance training.
- Follow regulatory requirements including those pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and OFAC to assist in the identification, detection and determent of money laundering and other unlawful activities, as well as regulations pertaining to lending and consumer compliance to include fair lending laws.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or mathematics.
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in a finance role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to model complex business questions/issues.
- Ability to think analytically and creatively.
- Ability to multi-task, effectively project manage, adapt, and prioritize within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to translate financial and operational metrics into actionable business decisions.
- Excellent judgment and analytical skills, with an autonomous nature and natural follow-up and follow through.
- Must have the ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgement in stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet monthly deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Preferred:
- Experience in the banking or finance industry.
- Experience with Workday Adaptive or other planning software.
- Experience with S&P Global.
