Job Summary:
As a member of the Finance team, the Sr Financial Analyst will work closely with other members of the Finance Team and leadership across various departments to develop reports, perform data analysis, and provide recommendations to ensure data driven financial decisions are made. Assume responsibility for the timely development, updating, and reporting of key operating metrics and month-end financial variance reporting.
Essential Functions:
Understand, track and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly key operating indicator (KPI) results to operational leaders.
Assist in the identification of appropriate business metrics in support of organizational short and long-term goals.
Develop financial reports, dashboards, models and cost projections.
Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations.
Research and resolve Business Unit(s) financial inquires.
Update monthly financial variance reports and re-forecasting models.
Manage and drive special projects, as needed.
Complete assigned tasks related to the financial close process.
Provide assistance in the completion of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Improve reporting efficiency and standardization.
Develop and strengthen forecasting models, statistical methods, and automation.
Work with key service line leaders to improve and or develop internal analytical tools, and identify available data to assist in meeting service line goals.
Work with Excel, Access, and SQL to manage and gain insights from various data sources.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed to support others on the Finance team, as well as organizational leadership.
Monitors data science trends, emerging tools, and technology to continually improve frameworks, processes and best practices in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications:
o Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education required.
o Work Experience
- Minimum five (5) - six (6) years of experience in a role encompassing both accounting/finance and financial analysis.
o Skills and Abilities
- Excellent reporting, presentation, and communication skills with solid attention to detail.
- Ability to present financial information to non-financial audience.
- Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in use of presentation, and visualization tools.
- Advance proficiency with Excel spreadsheets required.
- Working knowledge of SQL and Access databases.
- Able to meet established deadlines and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal guidance.
- Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work with individuals in a variety of positions within the organization.
- Demonstrates a collaborative team-oriented approach.
