Senior Financial Analyst, Alexa Finance - Amazon

Description Amazon seeks an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Alexa Insights, Planning, Econometrics and Decision (IPED) team. This role will be responsible for defining KPIs, deliver in-depth analysis, drive insights and support Finance & Business leadership This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most innovative and dynamic businesses. Key job responsibilities - Own Alexa Econometrics P&L insights & reporting - Work with a broad set of stakeholders across Finance, Business and Economics team - Define KPIs that incorporate value and investment levers across the Alexa P&L - Influence the definition of guardrails to manage investment decisions based on return forecasted - Work with big data and transform it into insights and information We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Seattle, WA, USA Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience Preferred Qualifications - MBA, or CPA - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
