The Senior Finance Analyst Global Strategic Vision plays a crucial role in driving the financial health and growth of the company. This position involves analyzing financial data, creating budgetary plans, and providing strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making by senior management. The Business Finance Specialist collaborates with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment of financial strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to assess the company's performance, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize financial strategies.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability, offering actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and potential risks, assessing their impact on the company's financial position.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor budget adherence and provide variance analysis, explaining discrepancies and proposing corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in creating long-term financial plans that support sustainable growth.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial metrics.
- Present financial performance updates to management and stakeholders, conveying complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations for resource allocation, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement.
- Identify potential financial risks and propose strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor and assess the impact of economic, regulatory, and market changes on the company's financial stability.
- Build and maintain financial models to project various scenarios and evaluate potential outcomes.
- Use financial models to support decision-making, such as pricing strategies, capital allocation, and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as sales, marketing, operations, and HR, to gather data and insights for financial analysis.
- Provide financial expertise and guidance to colleagues in different departments, fostering a culture of financial awareness.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- Possessing a Master's degree, or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CMA) is required.
- A minimum 3 years of proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within a business setting is required.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools is required (Excel, financial software, ERP systems, etc.).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial insights to diverse audiences is required.
- This role is located in Irvine, CA and may require up to 10% of travel.
The base pay range for this position is $73,000 - $117,300
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
