About the Job
The Senior Facilities Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive environment for all employees. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and coordination of maintenance activities to support the company's operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Develop and implement facilities management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage and lead a team of facilities staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Coordinate and oversee facility-related projects, including renovations, repairs, and new construction.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and tracking expenditures.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the facilities are in optimal condition.
- Respond to facility-related emergencies and manage the resolution of issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their facility needs and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to emergencies effectively.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in Facilities Management (CFM) or similar credentials is a plus.
