Job Title:Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician I
Williamsburg, VA.
1st Shift.
Work Schedule: 6:00AM-2:30PM, Monday-Friday.
Job Description:
What you'll do:
Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, or sanitary systems.
Responsible for routine repair and maintenance of machinery.
Utilize skills in repair, plumbing, woodworking, painting, and electrical systems.
Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
In this function you will:
Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs.
Troubleshoot issues with building systems and machinery.
Perform repairs and replacements as necessary to ensure functionality.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Required qualifications:
10+ years of experience in a similar role.
Formal or hands-on training in repair, plumbing, woodworking, painting, and electrical systems.
Preferred skills:
Certification in relevant maintenance or trade fields.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
