Job Summary:
As the Senior Executive Director, you will be responsible for operational oversight of an Enlivant community that requires strong strategic and operational management. These communities are typically 60 units or larger and have more complex physical plants and service requirements than other Enlivant communities. You are responsible for the overall performance of the community and will serve as a culture champion and resident advocate.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with all Federal and state laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures within the community
- Responsible for the oversight and performance of all functions within the community including clinical, sales and marketing, dining, facilities, and life enrichment.
- Recruits and selects new hires to ensure the community is staffed with compassionate and skilled employees needed to ensure resident care and satisfaction to drive business outcomes
- Provides guidance and training to employees, setting clear expectations, and coaching them on how to work efficiently, interact positively with residents, family members, and be great stewards of the community.
- Ensures employees have the training, tools, and equipment needed to maximize potential to be successful
- Creates, implements and oversees action plans to maximize employee and resident satisfaction
- Builds and sustains relationships inside and outside the community to develop a cohesive team and strong partnerships with referral sources and local organizations
- Provides training and support to all employees and promotes quality care and independence for our residents
- Resolves and follows up on issues with employees, residents, regulators and family members to ensure positive resolution and to maintain a high level of employee and resident engagement and trust
- Displays strong financial acumen by analyzing P&L information, regularly identifying opportunities to meet and exceed budget and revenue targets
- Leads by example and serves as a role model of Enlivant’s mission, vision, and values
- Exhibits good time management and organizational skills
- Possesses the ability to handle, resolve and follow up on complex issues
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations role
- Bachelor’s degree
- Administrator’s license or certificate required per state requirements
- Previous people management/supervisory experience
- Previous experience managing budgets and P&L
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a leadership or support role within senior living or healthcare
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in an operations role
- Experience in a leadership or support role within senior living or healthcare
- Master’s degree
- Operations and management experience in a campus-style or complex service operation
- Experience working with persons of dementia or memory care disorders
