Duties As a Senior Executive Assistant, GS-0301-14, your typical work assignments may include: * Collaborate with internal and external staff and members to review, and update briefing materials. * Ensure that briefing documents adhere to specific guidelines and protocols for leadership presentations, conferences, and submission to the Department's liaisons. * Coordinate with staff responsible for developing, reviewing, and advising Leadership and Senior Directors on an array of administrative matters that coincide with the strategic management practices and pertinent evaluation protocols of the Privacy Office's mission. * Provide expert advice and guidance to leadership and senior level staff members concerning agency developments involving PRIV leadership participation and attendance. * Perform logistical processing for an array of administrative processes associated with programmatic and logistical support to Senior Leadership. Qualifications Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-14, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as evaluating and enhancing effectiveness of program office, its programs and otherwise accomplishing a variety of critical assignments. Such experience may include: * Manage the administration program operations within the program office by planning, organizing, guiding, and controlling the administrative procedures and protocols, etc.; * Advise leadership on administrative policies and current developments for internal and external customers; * Serve as the primary liaison to perform extremely complex administrative duties, research, and analytical projects; and * Execute a variety of high-level special tasks associated with the privacy functions of the program office. Time-in-grade: Current General Schedule (GS) federal employees, and those that have served in GS positions within the last 52 weeks, must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade, or a combination of the next lower grade level and an equivalent band in the federal service by the closing of this announcement.
