Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Duties (60%)
- Collaborate with leadership to align event strategies with broader marketing objectives.
- Manage company swag operations, including sourcing, inventory control, fulfillment processes, and distribution of promotional materials.
- Source innovative and high-end gifts for CEO-level clients.
- Work cross-functionally with creative teams to ensure cohesive branding across all events.
- Lead the purchasing process for event-related products for the C-suite, sales teams, and facilities.
- Develop ROI models for event programs and manage event budgets in compliance with company policies.
Event Management (30-40%)
- Lead the planning and execution of high-profile, CEO-level events focusing on white-glove service, including detailed logistics, executive presentations, and premium customer experiences.
- Manage comprehensive event processes, including pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event analysis.
- Oversee trade shows (quarterly), internal sales kickoff events (300+ attendees), and customer appreciation events.
- Develop and implement event reporting tools to assess performance and continuously improve event strategies.
- Travel as necessary to attend major client-hosted events and tradeshows (approximately 40%).
Leadership & Team Management
- Directly supervise at least two team members within the centralized event planning team.
- Foster a collaborative culture by leading team meetings, establishing strong working relationships across departments, and conducting regular check-ins with direct reports.
- Build out scalable pre-event and post-event processes to support organizational growth.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to propose innovative ideas for internal and external audiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- 10+ years of experience managing special events, conference centers, stadium facilities, or similar large-scale venues.
- 5+ years of management experience overseeing an event planning function or team.
