Senior Estimator - Owen Thomas Group

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing project and bid strategies. You will do so by analyzing project proposals and historical cost data. Ultimately, your work will help us win project bids and develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• You must be familiar with a wide range of worksites, cost structures, and timelines
• Excellent plan and specification reading skills
• Proficient in Excel spreadsheets
• Experience with various estimating software
• Scoping projects
• Strong communication skills
• A Bachelor’s degree is required
• At least 5 years of related experience is required

Responsibilities

• Your job duties include surveying potential worksites, collaborating with contractors, vendors, and labor agencies, and providing a comprehensive cost analysis for potential clients
• Every estimate needs to address all relevant governmental regulations
• Prepare and estimate budget costs by studying plans and specifications
• CSI divisions (1-16)
• Conceptual budgeting
• Analyzing subcontractor proposal and scopes
• Preparation of RFIs and communication with professionals
• Quantity takeoffs, use of On-Screen Takeoff a plus

Salary: $100,000 - $160,000
