Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Estimator to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring budgets align with project goals and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for General Contractor construction projects
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather relevant data
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist in the bidding process by preparing bid proposals and documentation
• Monitor project budgets and provide cost control guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or client feedback
• Participate in contract negotiations and value engineering discussions
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in estimating for construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
