They focus on building highrises and multifamily builds in Southeast Florida.
This company is young, hungry and need a person who is excited about building an office in Fort Lauderdale.
They have a 3 year pipeline of work and have been making serious moves to secure even more contracts across the east coast of Florida.
Projects range from office/commercial builds to multifamily.

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and seasoned Senior Estimator to join our growing team. As a leading player in the construction industry, we specialize in high-rise and commercial construction projects. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in our company, providing accurate cost estimates that will drive our construction projects to success. This is a permanent position and offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that shapes the skyline of our city.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Estimator, your primary role will be to lead the preparation of cost estimates for high-rise and commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the entire estimation process from initial project assessment to final proposal.
2. Preparing comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and all other construction-related costs.
3. Reviewing and interpreting architectural plans, technical drawings, and other project documentation to identify potential cost factors.
4. Leading and coordinating the efforts of the estimating team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
5. Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to gather all necessary information for estimates.
6. Presenting estimates and proposals to clients and senior management, clearly explaining the basis of the cost calculations.
7. Continually monitoring industry trends and price fluctuations to ensure our estimates remain competitive and realistic.
8. Participating in project meetings and providing valuable insights to enhance project planning and execution.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this exciting role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for high-rise and commercial construction projects.
2. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
3. Proficiency in using estimator software and other relevant computer applications.
4. Strong technical understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
5. Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Professional Estimator Certification (PEC) or similar will be an added advantage.
