Senior Estimator for Walton & Company - Walton & Company

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems in commercial and industrial projects. You will analyze blueprints, request vendor and subcontractor prices, and develop cost-effective solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints and project documents to prepare estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary data.
• Use estimating software (EST MEP, QuoteSoft) for detailed estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for mechanical systems.
• Conduct site surveys to collect data and work with vendors/subcontractors for pricing.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve challenges and maintain organized estimate files.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in EST MEP, QuoteSoft, Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• 5-10 years of mechanical estimating experience.
• Valid PA driver's license.

Education/Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical school preferred.
• Industry certifications or estimating coursework a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Office and fieldwork, including site visits. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
