Job Details
Is your background a fit? Apply if you meet this criterion:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or construction related degree
- 7+ years of experience in bidding commercial and industrial construction projects
- Experience with projects valued between $30-$100M
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with Destini-Estimator, Pantera, or Bluebeam takeoffs is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze project documents and plans thoroughly.
- Work with the team to plan proposals.
- Get precise estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Stay updated on project timelines and deadlines.
- Keep informed about products, vendors, and regulations.
- Estimate project costs based on initial parameters.
- Compile detailed cost breakdowns.
- Attend preconstruction meetings.
- Travel occasionally for site assessments and local contractor liaison (rarely required).
