SENIOR ESTIMATOR-Underground Utilities (Civil/Commercial)

This highly reputable company is looking to add a Utilities Senior Estimator to their team! With a focus on Civil Infrastructure/Underground Utilities and Commercial General Contracting, this company provides premier services that continue to attract new and repeat clients! With over 34 years of business, this company is looking to add a skilled Senior Estimator to their team!

Location: DC

SENIOR ESTIMATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and understand all documents and assess project risks
• Understand project logistics and project schedule
• Manage and Develop cost estimates of “at risk” projects including all material, labor, equipment and general condition costs necessary to deliver a complete project
• Actively perform pre-construction duties and participate in meetings with clients, owners and engineers
• Maintain a historical database of costs

SENIOR ESTIMATOR QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years’ experience estimating Civil Infrastructure/Underground Utilities projects (Wet & Dry prefered)
• Well versed in all estimating principals including reviewing conceptual estimates
• Ability to communicate collaboratively; team player and balanced in approach
• Advanced computer skills with estimating software. Heavy Bid and excavating software is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills
• Degree in a related field highly prefered
