Senior Epic Application Analyst and Developer

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Senior Epic Application Analyst and Developer for a contract-to-hire position in Bloomington, MN.

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic team. The individual will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing solutions within the Epic software suite to enhance healthcare operations. This role requires a deep understanding of Epic applications and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Analyze and interpret business needs and translate them into Epic application solutions.
• Develop, test, and implement new features or enhancements in Epic applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues.
• Provide technical expertise and support during system upgrades and implementations.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and changes.
• Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to end-users on Epic applications.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Epic applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to Epic systems.
• Epic certification in at least one application module.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in a healthcare IT environment.
• Additional Epic certifications.
• Experience with project management and agile methodologies.
