About the Job   

We are currently seeking a senior-level remediation engineer or scientist for our Investigation and Remediation business area.  In this position you will build, manage, and motivate multidisciplinary teams pursuing innovative and challenging projects, including the economic and technical evaluation, design, permitting, and construction stages. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, well-organized experienced individual who can provide technical and strategic leadership on client projects in Massachusetts as well as in other state and federal jurisdictions. This position may offer in-office, hybrid, or remote opportunities based on the candidate's location and the needs of the organization.  

Responsibilities   

As a senior-level professional, your job functions will include, but not be limited to:  

• Developing relationships and cross-selling Integral’s services to grow business for the company
• Performing/supporting due diligence, remedial investigations and remedial action activities under federal and state- led regulatory programs
• Managing tasks and projects
• Communicating technical information to varied audiences (e.g., clients, staff, regulators, and stakeholders)
• Writing technical and regulatory required reports
• Mentoring staff
• Once licensed, act as LSP-of-Record for projects within Massachusetts
• Identifying and obtaining opportunities to grow your practice as an LSP

Qualifications  

Candidates should hold a B.S. or M.S. degree in hydrogeology, geology, environmental science, environmental or civil engineering, or related technical field; and hold a Licensed Site Professional certification, or be able to obtain one within one year of hire.  

The ideal candidate will have:  

• 8+ years of professional experience, including rich and varied experience in Massachusetts
• A Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional certification, or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire
• Experience in project and client management
• Demonstrated experience with business development
• A high degree of technical competence, with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• A desire to grow intellectually and professionally
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully within multidisciplinary and diverse teams
• Up to date 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training Certification

Annual Salary Range: $105,000 - $165,000  

An employee’s total compensation package includes annual salary, company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation with a company-match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation, company-paid life and short- and long-term disability, paid sick leave (80 hours per year), paid vacation (determined by title at hire), paid holidays (9 days per year), and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be pro-rated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
