We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Permanent Senior Enterprise Account Executive - SCM to join our highly successful team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and managing relationships with our existing clients. This role will be focused on selling our Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions to enterprise clients in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a proven track record in B2B sales and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive - SCM, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the engineering sector, with a focus on our SCM solutions.
2. Engaging in cold calling and lead generation to build a robust pipeline of potential clients.
3. Developing and implementing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
4. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels of their organizations.
5. Effectively communicating the value proposition of our SCM solutions through presentations and proposals.
6. Working closely with our technical team to ensure our solutions meet the specific needs of our clients.
7. Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management on a regular basis.
8. Staying current with industry trends and competitive developments to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Enterprise Account Executive - SCM role will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably in the engineering industry.
2. Proven experience in new business development, lead generation, and account management.
3. Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions and their application in the engineering sector.
4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
5. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
6. A 'hunter' mentality, with a relentless drive to seek out new business opportunities.
7. Experience in outside sales, with a willingness to travel as required.
8. A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
