About the Job
T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Senior Engineers, SDET in Atlanta, GA will create scripts for function and API automation and translate business and functional requirements into test scenarios using TOSCA. Collaborate with development teams, project managers, product owners, and solution architects to ensure the quality of programs and projects delivered via the software development lifecycle process (SDLC). Develop, implement, and sustain test automation processes, practices, and controls in support of application and system requirements. Ensure automated test cases are integrated into the Continuous Delivery Pipeline. Regularly groom and manage the automated and manual test suites to ensure proper balance between coverage and fast feedback cycles. Lead and consult on test automation strategy, requirement, design, implementation, and execution. Complete technical reviews, design reviews, code coverage, and code quality reviews using industry leading quality standards. Estimate testing labor effort and manage team capacity in support of the project delivery pipeline. Create and manage testing schedule through all phases of the testing cycle: System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing. Perform static testing on requirements from the test architect perspective. Identify and triage defects found during the automation cycle with respective development and business teams using defect management tools such as Jira. Develop automated capabilities of creating test data required for automation and manual testing efforts. Communicate test status and deliverables to stakeholders. Develop reporting capabilities including test execution status, defect status, defect aging, risks, and mitigations. Coach and provide technical feedback to junior SDETs. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related or its foreign equivalent, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience. In addition, the following skills are required: (1) Creating queries for test data setup, defect analysis, and test validations using Oracle SQL. (2) Debugging, validating, and conducting data visualization using Splunk architecture and components for log parsing. (3) Utilizing test automation tools Tosca and Selenium to develop and maintain optimized automated test suites as well as reusable test data capabilities. (4) Utilizing Internet of Things (IOT) & Cloud Platforms, frontline customer experience, and supply chain technology to translate business requirements into technical terms and deliver solutions for the Business and Retail Customer and ensure quality product for the end customer. (5) Maintaining test deliverables via capabilities, user stories, defects, and test suites using Jira, qTest, and Jira Align.
