Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position:ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES
The Senior Engineering Program Manager is a high visibility, high impact role where you will have the opportunity to lead the development of next generation DOD systems.
Position Objectives include:
- Successfully manage complex development project(s) that include Systems, Embedded Hardware, and Software development.
- Oversee performance, cost, scope, and schedule for all engineering efforts (including efforts that are subcontracted)
- Work as team player with the Business Program Manager and the Deputy Program Manager of Manufacturing Operations
WHAT SETS YOU APART
- 12 years Project Management experience leading hardware and software development teams
- 5 years related technical experience
- Significant experience using MS Project, EVMS, and Quality Tools
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational & mentoring skills
- Product Line Engineering Experience
- PMP Certification
- Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance
Salary Note:This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
