Job location - Fully Remote
Day to day duties – Conversion from Foxboro to PlantPAx logic, reviewing communication between both systems, attending meetings, site visit(1 week/ cutover), coordination with other team members and lead engineer, sharing updates with Lead engineer and PM.
Top 3 skills MUST have : Foxboro DCS knowledge, PlantPAx knowledge, Foxboro Communication knowledge, can travel to Site
Years of experience required : 8+
Education requirements : BS in Engineering preferred or other relevant degree
 

• Emerging technical leader.
• Takes ownership of technical tasks with minimal direction
• Analyzes customers requirements to determine the optimal control system solution and determines applicable hardware and software control configuration/architecture
• Performs conceptual hardware & software systems design, determination of control system strategy to meet customers’ requirements while complying with industry codes/standards and assure that personnel/machinery safety practices are implemented
• Performs software development and design of custom application software
• Oversee integration of 3rd party hardware and control systems
• Write technical specifications and project reports as required
• Lead the technical planning and direction of internal and customer system testing
• Takes ownership of issues, capable of engaging all levels of the organization to drive issues to resolution
• Provide on-site control system commissioning as required
• Experience in the design of industrial automation control systems and/or related application experience
• Leadership capability in applications of the different areas of automation systems including the interaction of mechanical, Fluid, Pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Technical writing capabilities
• Presentation skills
• Communicates in a professional manner
• Effectively manages their own natural reactions so there are no behaviors getting in the way of their effectiveness
• Self-starter and ability to complete tasks independently, on time
• Team player with the ability to integrate with other team project members
