As a valuable member of our inclusive Drinking Water team, you will support our clients throughout the northeast while sitting in any of our 17 offices. We offer a hybrid remote work environment and flexible Fridays in the summer.
Our Drinking Water Team and Projects
Our team has worked with hundreds of water suppliers both large and small for more than a century to assess demand, evaluate water quality and treatment, and design system improvements to enhance service delivery and meet tomorrow’s regulatory requirements. We regularly work with our clients to evaluate the condition and performance of their supply, treatment, and distribution infrastructure and plan, design and observe construction of necessary improvements.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Engineer at Tighe & Bond, you will work under a project director, receiving general direction on objectives and guidance on complex issues. You will be involved in solving various drinking water quality and treatment challenges while leading efforts related to surface water treatment processes, water chemistry, corrosion control, disinfection, and disinfection by-products. You will participate in multiple projects, act as a technical expert, and contribute to business development and proposal preparation. Mentoring junior staff and collaborating with senior colleagues, you will advance technical practices and share knowledge through internal seminars. A Senior Engineer’s responsibilities include quality control reviews, preparing agreements, and supporting business development and client management.
What does a Senior Engineer need?
Considerable years of consulting engineering experience and increasing responsibility in the drinking water industry. A BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering, Chemical, or a related field. An MS is preferred. You will need a PE license, project management experience, and great technical skills. Senior Engineers are expected to have strong written and verbal communication skills, engage in professional organizations, and lead external technical forums annually.

Senior Hydrogeologist salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate’s skill and experience; the salary range for this position is $100,145 - $131,440.
