Compensation Base Range: $114,000.00- $134,000.00 Annually

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Senior Engineer is responsible for driving and leading the successful introduction of REP's commercial products. This will include identifying and implementing opportunities with our current product offerings and creating new products directly for the commercial fitness market. The Senior Engineer will proactively identify opportunities for improvement within the department and provide support when required. They will also have a leadership role within the Product Development Department in hiring, coaching, supporting, and developing other members of the Engineering Team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience designing and leading projects and team members in the commercial fitness space. Have strong communication and collaborative skills. They will possess substantial expertise in design and manufacturing and demonstrate a strong knowledge of Engineering processes. The candidate will also be able to identify when a practical approach is required to meet deadlines in a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. This role has the possibility for relocation assistance and DOES require you to come into the office 5 days a week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Developing new products directly for the commercial fitness market
- Identify and implement opportunities with current product offerings to make them commercially viable
- Take a leading role in building the commercial fitness engineering team
- Demonstrate the ability to independently set and achieve milestones and deadlines, anticipate and mitigate delays, and escalate issues when necessary
- Proven team leader and point of contact for technical knowledge
- Drive the implementation of user-centric design and innovation
- Review Marketing Requirements Document for completeness, ensuring all required steps have been completed
- Perform departmental seminars to grow team members
- Introduction of process and procedures
- Extensive knowledge of products within all portfolios with identified subject matter expertise
- Build a team and delegate projects while being responsible for their oversight
- Create, track, report and delegate metrics and manage timelines
- Provide technical leadership to the engineering team, offering guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Complete invention disclosure forms for intellectual property review
- Identify design, cost and schedule risks
- Be available for early morning and evening meetings and international travel

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field
- A minimum of 10 years' Mechanical Engineering experience designing and leading projects within the commercial fitness space
- A minimum of 12 years' broad Engineering experience
