Our Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer/Associate for our Buildings & Structures Practice for the following office locations: Irvine, CA, Menlo Park, CA, Oakland, CA, Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Warrenville, IL, Atlanta, GA and New York, NY. In this role you will work as part of a team conducting analytical and computer problem solving, performing experimental field investigations and diagnostic surveys, and maintaining client relations.

You will be responsible for:

• Inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes of performance failures of structures
• Conducting analytical and computer problem solving
• Performing field investigations and diagnostic surveys
• Preparing technical reports and presentations
• Continued professional development towards establishing professional expertise
• Assignments will require the ability to gather information from and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and industry

You will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering or M.S. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• P.E. or S.E. license or the ability to become licensed in two years
• Excellent creative problem-solving ability
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as lead and work in multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong desire to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and exciting consulting environment

Compensation:

Our consultants are rewarded for their technical and business contributions and have an opportunity to plan for future success and career growth. Exponent's total compensation plan is consistent with its expectations of the quality and quantity of work performed and with the professional standards set by Exponent. At the Associate and Senior Associate level, total compensation includes base salary, bi-weekly bonuses for high-intensity efforts, annual bonus and 401(k) employer contribution of 7% of base salary.

 

The base salary range for this position is depending on experience and capabilities which will be assessed during the interview process.

Salary Range:USD $125,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 /Yr.Benefits you will enjoy:
