Kforce has a client in Marlborough, MA that is seeking a motivated Senior Embedded Software Engineer to be part of a collaborative, innovative team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of secure communication technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical solutions that have a real-world impact. Summary: In this role, you will play a key part in the development of cutting-edge software for encrypted communication systems. You will collaborate closely with system, test, and hardware engineers to design and deliver new capabilities that meet rigorous performance and security standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
5+ years of related embedded software development experience
Proficiency in C/C++
Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP and IPSec
Strong knowledge of Linux OS
Strong communication and collaboration skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
