Senior Electrical Project Manager - BNW Services

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with expertise in electrical construction to lead and oversee our electrical projects in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is critical to the success of our operations, focusing on the management of day-to-day activities, budget oversight, project coordination, and ensuring project goals are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical project management and leadership.

• Oversee and manage daily operations of staff teams on assigned projects.
• Initiate, review, and manage necessary project administration and documentation
• Ensure that contract agreements are promptly secured, reviewed, processed, and finalized.
• Review, adjust, and finalize the project budget, ensuring it is distributed accordingly.
• Lead pre-construction turnover meetings for all assigned projects.
• Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and displayed as required.
• Initiate, monitor, and update project schedules as needed.
• Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment with the purchasing agent, focusing on meeting or improving established schedule dates and budget costs.
• Ensure the review, processing, and approval of required submittals, maintaining accurate submittal logs.
• Develop, submit, and gain approval for the billing schedule of values.
• Maintain a positive cash flow position by managing over-billed amounts and requesting retention release payments.
• Collect payments, progress billings, and retention receivables by their due dates.
• Ensure projects are properly staffed with the appropriate field personnel, including reviewing, updating, and approving labor resource loading and productivity.
• Oversee the use of tools and rental equipment on all assigned projects, ensuring that unused items are returned promptly.

• 8+ years of relevant electrical project management experience.
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale electrical projects from inception to completion.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to negotiate critical issues and lead teams with creativity and foresight.
• Strong understanding of industry standards, budgeting, and project management software (Accubid preferred).
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
