Senior Electrical Engineer - Engineering Resource Group

Description

• Permanent position for a Senior Electrical Engineer for designing the electrical systems of mission critical facilities.
• Design of the appropriately sized generators, switchgear, UPS systems, transformers, PDU’s and other mission critical equipment.
• Design should incorporate reliability and redundancy.
• Apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields.
• Responsible for independent decision making regarding engineering methods.
• Use of advanced techniques and modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices in individual’s field.
• Supervision and guidance related to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.
• Consult with supervisor concerning problems and developments.
• Develop test procedures and support the commissioning of electrical equipment.

Requirements

• BS Electrical Engineering required
• Minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to design in CADD is required and design ability in Revit is a plus.
• Licensed PE is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience in the design and commissioning of generators, switchgear, UPS systems, transformers, PDUs and/or similar equipment.
