This role is ideal for someone with a strong design background who is ready to take the lead on projects and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and building systems (communications, IT, security, fire alarms).
• Perform electrical calculations for load analysis, equipment sizing, voltage drop, grounding, and lighting circuits.
• Coordinate and design low and medium voltage distribution systems.
• Develop building electrical designs and construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Review and edit MasterSpec project specifications.
• Attend client meetings, coordinate deliverables, and participate in drawing reviews.
• Occasionally travel to project sites for fieldwork and verification of existing conditions.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience: At least 4+ years of progressive electrical design experience, with a background in consulting or contracting.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering; PE registration or FE certification (PE preferred, but candidates working towards PE will be considered).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with NEC codes and electrical system analysis tools like SKM.
• Communication: Strong communicator with hands-on experience in mentoring junior team members and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Leadership: Ability to lead projects independently and mentor junior engineers.
