About the Job
Selectek is seeking highly experienced Electrical Engineers for a senior role on a permanent basis. Our partnering company, located near Sarasota, Florida, needs candidates with strong backgrounds in power and lighting distribution to oversee commercial and transportation projects.
Employment Type: Permanent Hire
Expected Pay Range: $115,000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience and certification level
Location: Sarasota, Florida
Job Requirements:
- BachelorÂ’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- PE License, either active or in process
- Fifteen years of field experience
- Previous experience with leadership roles or guiding/training junior-level engineers
In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the clientÂ’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
Job Details:
- Provide training and mentoring to junior electrical engineers and designers
- Lead complex projects with minimal oversight from leadership
- Generate detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specs
- Prepare and study technical drawings and electrical specs to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards
- Plan layouts for electrical construction projects
- Inspect completed installations to ensure projects comply with design and equipment specifications
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p with Fridays as a work-from-home day
