Senior Power Systems Engineer

Are you an experienced power systems engineer with a passion for delivering high-impact solutions in transmission and distribution systems? Our client is seeking a talented Senior Power Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team! This is a remote opportunity available across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop relay protection schemes using microprocessor-based relays for transmission and distribution systems.
• Perform coordination studies for protective devices covering lines, transformers, buses, and more.
• Lead and execute technical studies such as short circuit, load flow, arc flash, insulation coordination, and system impact studies.
• Prepare detailed reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
• Act as a Lead Engineer on complex studies, ensuring quality, adherence to schedules, and client satisfaction.

Preferred Software Expertise:

• PSS/E, PSLF, ETAP, ASPEN, SKM, CYME
