Senior Electrical Engineer - Hybrid - GPAC

A multi-disciplinary, award-winning MEP Engineering client of ours is currently hiring for highly creative Senior-Level Electrical Engineer/Department Head to join their growing team. This firm works on large-scale, challenging projects including Healthcare Facilities, Airports, Research Laboratories, Petrochemical Labs, Higher Education, Government, Municipal, K-12 and Commissioning Projects. 

The Senior Electrical Engineer will work with an experienced group of designers to prepare building electrical plans and specifications. 

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities

• Detailed design, modeling and analysis of normal and emergency power distribution systems.
• Design  life safety systems
• Design and model lighting and associated control systems
• Coordinate with the Plumbing, Mechanical, Architectural, Structural, and Telecommunication/Audio Visual discipline’s design
• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Act as leader in the department and will supervise staff's day-to-day responsibilities.
• Mentor staff in both technical knowledge and career development.
• Lead projects in all facets by interfacing with clients, providing technical excellence and managing the project team and schedule to achieve successful project outcome.

Elecgtrical Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university;
• PE License is a MUST
• 5 years of experience;
• Demonstrated success in managing projects
