Position Overview
A Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects. This includes creating and reviewing electrical drawings, conducting calculations and analyses, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EPLAN, NEC, UL, and EC, with additional experience in Allen Bradley, PLC, Robotic Design, AutoCAD, Short Circuit Current Analysis, NFPA 70, NFPA 79, UL508A, CompactLogix, and SSCR being considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards
- Create and review electrical drawings, including schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Conduct calculations and analyses, such as short circuit current analysis and load flow studies, to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems
- Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to determine project requirements and develop solutions
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical system issues
- Stay current with industry developments, codes, and standards and incorporate them into designs and processes
- Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and development
- Extensive knowledge of Eplan, NEC, UL, and EC codes and standards
- Experience with Allen Bradley, PLC, Robotic Design, AutoCAD, Short Circuit Current Analysis, NFPA 70, NFPA 79, UL508A, CompactLogix, and SSCR preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
